Obituary

Mr. Alexander Killens of Raleigh, North Carolina and formerly of Fairmont, North Carolina passed away on Monday evening December 28, 2020 in the comfort of his home. He is survived by two daughters: Joy Smith and Jenee' Killens of Raleigh, NC, one son, Antonio Monte' McCallum of Fairmont, NC and several grandchildren.  He is also survived by one sister Dale Rogers of Fairmont, NC and one brother, Thomas Windell Killens of Whiteville, NC; also several niece's and nephews.    Alexander was preceded in death by his lovely wife Deborah Johnson Killens, his parents Mr. and Mrs. Thomas D Killens Jr. and his brother Talmadge.

Alexander was best known for his tiring work with the North Carolina Democratic Party and also served as the first African American Commissioner of the North Carolina Department Of Motor Vehicles.  The full obituary and funeral arrangements will follow soon
