Annie Margaret Page was born on July 8th, 1946, to the late Robert Kelley
and Fannie Lee Page in Rowland, North Carolina. She departed this earthly
life on Tuesday, August 22, 2023, at home absorbed in love.
Annie, affectionately known as “Mah”, was a soft spoken, loving, giving,
and caring individual who was extremely adored by her family and friends.
Family was everything to Mah, the many celebrations with relatives and
friends, the many church functions at Trinity Baptist Church where she
served on the usher board, Missionary and she sang on the choir. Mah also
served the many children and staff at St. Rocco’s Catholic School and Lady
Liberty Charter School.
When you speak of a phenomenal woman, you speak of Annie McNeal.
She has overcome many life obstacles with such grace and humility.
Never showing defeat, but always rising to the occasion; she will always
be remembered for her strength, courage and her love for the Lord.
Annie was preceded in death by her son, Jerimiah Jermaine McNeal of
Georgia. However, she leaves to cherish her memory, her husband of 56
years, Norman McNeal Sr. of Newark, New Jersey, two sons: Norman
McNeal Jr. of Newark NJ and Terrence McNeal of Newark NJ.
Annie was preceded in death by her stepdaughter, Cecilia Scott. She leaves
three daughters: Denise Michelle Page of North Carolina, Linda Ann
McNeal of Newark NJ, and Suprena Ann McNeal of Newark, NJ; and a
daughter-in-law, Chancey Freeman McNeal (Jerimiah Jermaine McNeal)
of Georgia. Annie McNeal also had 2 bonus children/grandchildren, Keon
McNeal of Georgia and Lakirah McNeal of Newark NJ.
Annie McNeal had 3 brothers that preceded her in death, James Allen Page
of NYC, Robert and George Kelley of Philadelphia, PA. She leaves 3
brothers: Larry Page (Sandra Page) of North Carolina, Michael Page
of Newark, NJ and Larry Kelley of Philadelphia, PA.
Annie had 3 sisters that preceded her in death, Mary Francis Page of
Newark, NJ, Carolyn Stafford and Louise Kelley of Philadelphia, PA. She
leaves 3 sisters: Diane Page Alford (Charles Alford) of Newark, NJ, Janice
Kelly of Philadelphia, PA and Linda Mills (Kevin Mills) of Philadelphia,
PA.
Annie had 17 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren and one great-great
grandchild; and three Godchildren: Shanice Scott, Rasheedah Mitchell and
Terry MaGhee. She also leaves a host of nieces, nephews, grandchildren
from school, relatives, and friends whom she nurtured and loved.
