Mr. Brien Keith Littles started this journey called “life” on April 12, 1960 in Kings County, New York. He entered this world at Brooksdale Hospital in Brooklyn, New York. He was the oldest son of George Littles and Phyllis Slade Littles. Brien was raised in a Christian home in an environment that actively displayed the teachings of Jesus Christ and at an early age he accepted Christ as his personal Savior.
Brien was educated in the public schools of New York and graduated from Canarsie High, in Canarsie, NY. Known for his great stature, he was a favorite with the Canarsie football team and was its star player for three years. Upon graduating from high school, Brien felt the need to serve his country and decided to enlist in the United States Navy for additional self-growth and development of his character.
Brien’s life reflected his belief in the word of God as he became a valued employee and dutiful servant of God through the many homeless shelters he was employed with. Brien cooked and assisted with the collection of clothing and personal items for the needy. He loved the interaction with the homeless and was very satisfied with the difference his work made in the many lives he touched. He loved the clients and staff he worked with at the center named, "Journey Home" which was one center of many in this venture of lending a helping hand. Brien always affiliated himself with a church in the neighborhood as his desire to serve carried him to several different states. He was known and loved by the members of these different churches for his big smile and lovely personality and of course his “Gourmet Cooking” abilities. He made sure to connect with the men of the church and loved singing in the Male Choir.
Brien was preceded in death by his mother, Phyllis, brother Darryl Littles, and Shawn Robinson.
