Mr. Calvin Leon Inman, of Fairmont, Norh Carolina passed away on Friday January 13, 2023 at UNC Health Southeastern, Lumberton, North Carolina. He was sixty years old. He was surrounded by his mother, sister and a dear friend when he peacefully succumbed to the will of God, answering the call to "Come Home", after a short illness.
Calvin was born on May 4, 1962 in Robeson County, North Carolina. He was the son of Vashtie Inman and the late Clarence Calvin Inman. He attended Fairmont High School where he graduated in 1980. He entered the US Army as a motor transport operator. He spent time in Germany and also served in many stateside commands. Calvin was honorably discharged in 1988. After his time in the Army he returned to Fairmont where he continued to work in the transportation industry and several other professions until his health began to decline. Calvin was known for his quick wit and infectious laugh, he never met a stranger because of his compassionate spirit. He enjoyed being with family, watching "Judge Judy" and listening to old school R & B.

Inman, Brenda J. Blue (Doug) and Jay F. Inman all of Fairmont, NC, Sharon L. Patrick of Monroe, NC, Isley R. Inman (Renea) of Charlotte, NC and Jeffery W. Inman of Whiteville, NC. ; 5 Grandchildre; Kaniyah Hayes, Auriel Inman, Amira Inman, Chase Leggett and Raniya De'Shay Campbell ; 3 Aunts ; Ruby Campbell and Gloria Campbell of Fairmont, NC, Dorothy Campbell of Flint, Michigan and Annie Ruth Campbell (Frank) of Rocky Mount, NC. He also leaves 4 nieces, 4 nephews, 10 great nieces, 7 great nephews and a host of cousins, family and friends to include a special cousin Michelle McCormick (Dwayne) and special friends N L Evans (Monica), Angelo McMillian, Donna Nealy and Jarvis Patrick.
