Of all the mothers, you were the best. It breaks my heart as we lay you to rest.
Debbie Sue Hunt, daughter of the late Mr. Dock and Sallie Mae Hunt was born in Laurinburg, North Carolina a small town located in Scotland County. She softly and gently departed this life on March 30, 2021 at home.
Debbie Sue was the youngest daughter and the third oldest child born to Mr. and Mrs. Hunt. They grew up on the farm and she did her share of the work. She was educated in the public school system of Robeson County and after graduation from high school she enrolled at Robeson Community College in Lumberton. She received an associate degree in Mental Health. She performed the task of recording medical records mostly while employed.
Debbie Sue was the loving, caring wife of Mr. Charles King, and the dedicated mother of Michelle Hutchison. She was a caring person, a special person who loved animals. One writer said, we can judge the heart of a person by their treatment of animals. She cherished her pooch named “Bentley”. Her cooking skills were one of a kind. She loved to make her own special recipe of “Glazed Pecans” and Egg Rolls. At an early age Debbie Sue accepted Christ as her personal Savior and tried her best to follow the teachings of Jesus Christ. She was gentle and always had a beautiful smile. She will be missed.
Ms. Debbie Sue was preceded her in death by her parents, Dock and Sallie Mae Hunt.
