Obituary

Mr. Earl Emanuel Jackson, Jr. of Fairmont, North Carolina made his peace with the Lord on Wednesday September 30, 2020. Earl had been in failing health for a while, yet he did not complain.  Earl was born and raised in Fairmont, North Carolina graduated from Fairmont High School.  Feeling in the need to serve his country he enlisted in the United States Air Force.  There he served for twelve years and traveled  to many states and abroad where duty called. He was the son of both the late Mr. Earl Jackson Sr. and Mrs. Helen M. Bullock Jackson.  Earl accepted Christ at a young age and grew up worshiping at Star of Bethlehem Baptist Church with his family.  Later in life he united with the Mill Branch Baptist Church family and served there to the best of his ability.

Earl could be seen driving around in his grey mercury, or on the lawn mower.  He was always pleasant to be around and always flashed a big smile.

Those left with special memories of Earl are his sister Gwendolyn Blue and her husband Robert of Fairmont ; niece's and nephew's and many close relatives and friends.  The full obituary will follow soon.
