Julius Page Obituary

Julius Caesar Page was the eighth of ten children born February 12, 1940 to William Arthur Page and Ellen Deborah Page.  He departed this life on January 7, 2024.

As a young child Julius joined Saint Paul African Methodist Episcopal Church, Fairmont, North Carolina, remaining involved in the ministry activities until he left for college.  He returned home later in life to continue his involvement.

Julius, lovingly called “Bo Peep” by his family, graduated from Southside High School, Rowland, NC.  One of his many accolades included12 years of school attendance without missing one day.  He continued his education at Allen University in Columbia, South Carolina, though he quickly realized that his passionate desire to serve his country could not be ignored.  He enlisted in the United States Army, serving with dedication until his honorable discharge as a Purple Heart recipient.

As God has a divine plan, enlisting in the U.S. Army allowed his path to cross with a beautiful lady by the name of Billie Jo Fulcher.  Julius made her his wife and with this union, they raised 4 children.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Billie Jo Page; his  parents, William “Arthur” and Ellen Deborah Page; and seven of his nine siblings.

Left to celebrate his life and to cherish his memory are his children, Stephen Len Page, Teri Page (spouse Amanda Edmonson), Anthony Page, and Cynthia Haskins;  his grandchildren: Brandyn Page, Brittany Humphrey, Christopher Page and Casey Haskins; several  great grandchildren; sisters, Margaret E. Page and Octavia L. Anderson; and a plethora of other relatives and friends.
