Leon McLaughlin, son of both the late Cleveland and Dorothy McKellar was born on January 4, 1949 in Dillon, South Carolina. He was raised in a Christian home and confessed Christ as his personal Savior at an early age. Leon was a typical teenager and graduated from Rosenwald High School in Fairmont. He was loved by all his classmates and to most our surprise he was very quiet. He always excelled in his classes and made his parents proud.
