Leroy Bullard was born in Rowland, NC on March 20, 1956 to the late Clinton Roosevelt Bullard and Ida Mae Bethea-Bullard. He gained his heavenly wings on May 8, 2023, at UNC Health Southeastern in Lumberton, NC surrounded by his loving family.
Leroy began his early childhood education at Hilly Branch Elementary in Lumberton, NC. After continuing his education at Fairgrove High School, in Fairmont, NC. He started his career with the Department of Public Safety "City Garage" of Lumberton, NC. He was a faithful employee of thirty-seven years. Leroy, believed in working hard and lending an helping hand to those that needed it. Leroy was later on promoted as Supervisor of his Department in Mechanics; were he remained until his retirement.
Leroy was full of life and enjoyed watching westerns, attending auctions, working on vehicles and going to race tracks/car shows. He also had a love for horses. "Roy" loved going to breakfast at some of the local restaurants around town with some of his close family and friends also known as "work buddies."
Leroy was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church in Fairmont, NC. He was a devoted member attending faithfully until his health declined.
Leroy was preceded in death by his parents; son James 'Rod' Bullard and Brothers, Clinton Bullard, James Albert Bullard and Purcell Faulk.
Leroy leaves to cherish his memory, three daughters, Latonya Elizabeth Jackson "Toot-lu", Dorothy Roshell Bullard(Anthony Laquiton Rolland) and Tracie Gerald all of Lumberton, NC. A son Kendrick Lee Jackson of Lumberton, NC. A total of nine grandchildren, Diamond Jackson, Kiante Bullard, Jalik Walters, Jariq Walters, Anthony Rolland, Kyland Gerald-Brown, Aidan Rolland and Aniya Rolland; two siblings, Inell Bullard of Lumberton, NC, Giles "Eddie Bullard(Lillian) of Charlotte, NC; three God-Brothers Sylvester Faulk of Lumberton, NC and Berlester Faulk and Harris Faulk of Raleigh, NC; two Special Nephews Jermaine Faulk and Monte Archie Faulk of Lumberton, NC; a close friend Mr. Lawrence of Lumberton, NC; a host of nieces,nephews, cousins and family and friends.
