“I have fought a good fight. I have finished my course”
Paul Fulmore was born July 1, 1940 to Arthur Sr. and Louise Jones Fulmore, in Robeson County. His earthly journey ended Sunday, February 28, 2021 at Southeastern Medical Central.
Paul was educated at Rosenwald High School until he relocated to New York City. He worked for the Department of Railroads. He also worked for Lumberton Christian care in Lumberton N.C. until health didn’t allow him to.
Paul loved to sing, and sung with the Tones of Joy for many years. Paul joined St. Mary’s Church under the leadership of Bishop JC Bryant and during the closing of the church he fellowship with Power House of Praise and then he returned back to St. Mary’s Church. He sung with the Praise Team and St. Mary Sr. Choir.
He was preceded in death by his father and mother, his twin sister Pauline Fulmore, Mary Wilson, one brother, James Lee Fulmore, one son Jonathan Brown.
Paul left to cherish his fond memories are Janette King of New York; three sons Paul Jr. ,Jake and Raymond; five sisters, Mary Ann Chatman, Shirley Jones, Emma Smith, Lena Cox, Brenda Fulmore ; four brothers Arthur Fulmore, Luther Fulmore, Charles Fulmore and Preston Fulmore. Two grandchildren, a host of nephew and nieces, cousins, other relatives and friends.
