Rashawn McLean, "Da Moe" a beautiful soul was born October 7, 1991 at Southeastern Medical Center in Lumberton. Rashawn was the son of Notrawla Moody and Torrence McLean. He departed this life on April 27, 2023 at Cape Fear Medical Center in Fayetteville, North Carolina. He was preceded in death by his great-great grandmother, Mrs. Mattie Mae Moody and Aunt, Alicia McLean.
Rashawn attended the Public Schools of Robeson County; he was employed at Perdue Farms and House of Raeford. He was easy going with a big heart and always told you that he loved you. "Da Moe" is what everyone called him. He loved playing spades and being a DJ at the local parties.
Rashawn gave his life to Christ and joined Star of Bethlehem Missionary Baptist Church of Fairmont, North Carolina, where people knew him as a walking bible.
Rashawn leaves his fondest memories to his mother, Notrawla Moody (Raymond) of Dillon, SC; his father Torrence McLean (Sandra) of Albany, Georgia; his siblings, Marquice Moody, Jaconia McLean, Shamone McLean all of Fairmont, North Carolina; Damion Moody of Lumberton, NC J'Quan Hinson of Hoke County, North Carolina; and Tia McLean, Albany Gorgia; A special grandmother Loretta Moody of the home; grandmother Mae Gwenda of Lumberton, NC and grandfather Anthony Campbell and Earl Walters; great-grandmothers; Ollie Walters of the home and Gloria Campbell; Seventeen nieces and nephews. Aunts Cecelia, Andrea, Michaela, Denise, Kendra, Elaine, and Sharranda; one uncle Correy: Seven Aunts, Five great-great-aunts ; his godmother Grace Murchison and a host of other relatives and friends.
