Robert Lee Graham

February 17, 2022

"I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith. (II Timothy 4:7)"

Mr. Robert Lee Graham was born September 21, 1949, to the late James Graham and Earnestine Baker Graham.  He transitioned to his heavenly home on Thursday February 17, 2022, at his home surrounded by his family.  Robert received his education from Robeson County Public Schools.  He worked the farm with his father and worked for Rowland Oil Company.  Robert was always helping people, whether it was fixing things around their home or mowing grass or cutting hedges.  He worked hard and gave 110% in all he did.

Robert accepted Christ as his Savior and was a faithful member of Bethel Charity Church Rowland, N.C. under the leadership of Pastor William Roberts; where he served as a deacon, usher, and van driver.  Robert was also known to many as "Honk", "Stud Butler" and "Kojak".  He was a proud father, grandfather, loving son, loyal brother, uncle and friend.  Robert was full of life, always smiling with a sense of humor.  He loved his family profoundly and valued the importance of family.  He held a special place in his heart for children and loved entertaining them, which was filled with love, laughter and so many amazing moments. Robert had a quiet and good spirit with a huge heart.  He was an avid fan of the Cotton Valley Sluggers baseball team. He would often showcase his 1974 Monte Carlo to the soulful sound of Roy C.  He loved music and loved to dance. You would always find him singing and dancing to the tune of "I ain't gon bump no mo with that big fat woman". He was such an easy-going person.

Robert was preceded in death by his parents, a daughter Mildred Southern, three sisters: Marie Jeanette Graham, Lisa Marie Graham, and Annie Hazel Quick, also blended family member, Johnny Blue.

Robert leaves to cherish his memories his daughter Stephanie Denise Bristow (John) of Florence, South Carolina, three grandchildren, Brittany Denise Bristow, Brent Deon Bristow, Shaquille Omar Bristow (Raven Simone) all of Florence South Carolina; seven great grandchildren; Ja'Sir, Kaliyah, King, Kapri, Bryson, A'Harmony and Kehlani all of Florence, South Carolina.   Stepmom Margaret Ree Graham of Rowland, NC; four brothers, Henry Graham (Doris) of Fairmont, NC; James Graham (Martha) of Charlotte, NC, Kenneth Graham (Dixie) of Fairmont, NC; Terry Graham (Karen) of Raleigh, NC.
