Sarah Lee Page

Sarah Lee Page was born in Rowland, NC on October 24, 1964, to the late Grady Page and Annie Liza Priest Page. She departed his life on November 3, 2023, in Lumberton, North Carolina.  

Sarah began her early childhood education at Southside Elementary in Rowland, NC.  She was employed with many odd jobs but especially liked her position in the Housekeeping Department at the motels and hotels at South Of The Border and Days Inn in Rowland.  Growing up, she attended Magnolia AME Church in Hamer, South Carolina where her family worshiped.  Later she would attend the churches in Rowland when she felt the need to do so.

Sarah was full of life and enjoyed spending time with family and friends. When there was a crowd she was in the middle of it spreading cheer. She was the protector for her nieces and nephews , whom she adored. They had a special loving name for her “Aunt Scoot”.  She lived life her own special way and was loved by many.  She will truly be missed from hanging with the gang on M.L. King Street.

Sarah was preceded in death by her parents Annie Liza and Grady Page; two sister Annise Page, and Rose Page.

Sarah leaves to cherish her memory, two sisters Maggie Page and Mary Campbell of Fairmont, North Carolina; one brother Jeffery Page of Rowland, North Carolina, a host of nieces and nephews, a special cousin Lovie Page and many other relatives and friends.
