Mrs. Vivian Campbell Jones , daughter of the late Mr.  Eugene Campbell and the late Mrs. Anna Ruby Townsend Campbell was born on June 27, 1940 in Rowland North Carolina. She fell asleep in death on Monday October 19, 2020 at the Lumberton Health and Rehabilitation Center in Lumberton, North Carolina.

Vivian grew up in Rowland and graduated from Southside High School in 1958. After high school she earned some college credits. She married Mr. William  Livingston Jones  Jr. on December 25, 1962 and they moved to Washington, DC. where they reared their four children and worked.  Vivian worked for the Department of Motor Vehicles, then moved on to work for Bell Atlantic, which became C&P then AT&T. She retired after 19 years of service.  She was  a Line Technician who assisted the guys on the telephone poles on which wires to connect to each other was a very critical job because if she didn't provide them with the correct information they could be electrocuted.  She took her job very seriously knowing that their lives depended on her accuracy.   After a few years of retirement she went back into the workforce at Boat USA  providing insurance to individuals with boats.   She was one of the sweetest, genuine persons that you could meet and would give the shirt off her back.

Vivian started studying the bible with Jehovah's Witnesses in the late 60's and dedicated her life by water baptism on December 24, 1972.  She was a faithful servant of Jehovah until the end.  She spent countless hours in the ministry teaching others about Jehovah.

Preceding her in death are: her parents, Mr. & Mrs. Eugene Campbell, husband,  William Jones two sons Willie and Jeffrey Jones and two sisters Vista and Ruby.
