Willie Frazier Davis Sr

On June 26, 2023, Mr. Willie Frazier Davis Sr. , with loved ones at his bedside departed this earthly life to receive his heavenly reward.  He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend.  Willie was the son of the late John Willie Davis and Vivian Sanders-Davis. He was born on January 13, 1944 in Clio, South Carolina.   He attended Marlboro County Schools. At an early age he accepted Christ, was baptized and joined Reedy Branch Baptist Church in Clio, South Carolina. 

Willie met and married Grace Whitner and moved to Brooklyn, New York.  He worked at Pecther Field Bakery for thirty plus years until his health declined.  Willie was not only a hard worker but was kind, with a gentle soul.

Willie is preceded in death by his parents John Willie Davis and Vivian Sanders Davis, his son Fred Peterkin, his sisters Annie Lou Davis  Sarah Margaret Davis. 

His life will be forever cherished by his loving wife and family; Gracie W. Davis of Laurinburg, NC, his children Lisa Davis (Murphy) of Laurinburg, NC, Willie Jr (Katrina) Davis of Laurel Hill, North Carolina, Angela Davis (Wayne) of Fayetteville, NC. Special nieces and nephews like daughters and sons Dominique Glasgow of Victoria, Virginia; Dayonte Glasgrow of Durham, NC, Rudy Agnew, of Brooklyn, New York and Kenneth Glasgrow of Durham, NC. His sister Evangelist Mary Vines (Ennis) of Brooklyn, New York, Rev. John L. (Dianne) Davis of Clio, S.C.;Tyrone (Bessie) Davis of Bennettsville, SC, Larry Davis of Dillon, SC, Tommy Davis of Ocala, Florida, Tony Davis of Brooklyn, New York, Ben Davis of Durham, NC;  16 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews cousins and friends.
